Sri H. Chandrashekar, State and National Coach, Paravolley and member of Karnataka Sports Association for Physically Handicapped (R) and Karnataka State Volleyball Association for Physically Challenged (R) since a decade. As a State Coach, he has immensely contributed for the promotion & development of Para Athletes/Paravolley in the State. Under his training/coaching Karnataka State team won 06 times consecutively Senior National championship since 2006-07. As a well-trained coach, he has trained & guided many National and International Para Athletes / Paravolley.
He participated in the specific Asian Game KL 06 at Malaysia, World Cup Standing Volleyball at Cambodia in 2010, World Sitting Volleyball Championship at USA and World Series Beach Paravolley at China in the year 2019.
He is very much dedicated towards the development and promotion of sports among the Para Athletes and Paravolley sport.
In view of all achievements, I strongly recommend Sri H. Chandrashekar for Dhyanchand Award / Life time achievement award for the year 2021.

NSNIS Coach for football during 1983/84. Due to the passion towards promotion and development of sports among the disabled, from the year 2005 I have been training and providing coaching for disabled sports persons to take part in various para sports especially Paravolley Ball. Attended “Introductory Seminar on Volleyball (Coaching, Refereeing, Classification and Practice) for Disabled” during IWAS World Games in 2009.
Participated in National Championship / Asian Game/ World Paravolley. I was the coach for the Indian National team in the World Cup, World Championship and World Series.
Member of Paralympic Volleyball Federation of India (PVFI) and committed towards the development of the game of Volleyball for disabled in India. Registered by vide reg. no. SJNS201-2007-08 and affiliated to Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) which is recognised by Government of India. PVFI is a member of Para Volleyball Asia Oceania, World Organisation Volleyball for disabled (WOVD). PVFI has qualified coach and classifier.
Vision: To uplift the game of Volleyball for disabled in India and keep building stronger National Men & Women team; to participate in the International Tournaments & Forthcoming World Championships.
I have trained and provided coaching to the players and they have represented at National level and International level.

►Trainer for Sri H.N Girisha (Arjuna Awardee & Padmashri Awardee) from Karnataka State in the 16th Senior National Para Athletics Championships 2016.
► Coach for Sri Santhappa Anthonappa from Karnataka State who participated in the * Experimental Open International Beach Volleyball Championship for Disabled” in 2011 in Bonn, Germany and secured SECOND position by winning a Silver Medal. He also participated in th WOVD Standing Volleyball World Cup at Cambodia in 2007 and 2009.
►Coach for Sri Naresh Yadav Ragula from Telangana State who participated in the Peace Cup Para Volleyball Championship 2016 in Sri Lanka. PVFI deputed to the World Para Volley Coaching, Thailand and has been awarded Diploma in Coaching.

This is applicable for the period the disciple(s) was/were under my training.

H. Chandrashekar, nicknamed Chandru, is an Indian former footballer who played for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). He also coached HAL in their first I-League (then known as the National Football League). He is currently the technical manager of the team and was appointed after HAL were relegated from the I-League.
